Altura Unlocks Liquidity From AVLT Yield Positions via Morpho
Altura, a DeFi yield protocol built on HyperEVM and led by an ex-Fidelity and PwC team, has launched a lending market on Morpho. The integration allows AVLT vault shares to be used as collateral to borrow stablecoins within a permissionless lending protocol.
The move enables holders to access USDT0 liquidity without exiting their yield position. According to Ranveer Arora, Co-Founder & CEO at Altura DeFi, this integration takes institutional yield strategies further by allowing holders to borrow against their position without sacrificing the yield working underneath it.
Indicative rates at launch are approximately 12.25% APY for lending and approximately 14.25% on borrowing. The Morpho integration changes the role AVLT plays in DeFi, enabling holders to borrow USDT0 against their position while the underlying vault strategies continue to compound.
