Amazon Stock Price Pinned Near $260 as Analysts Predict Bullish Run
Amazon's stock price is currently hovering near $258 on Binance, despite its impressive earnings report and AWS growth. The company's Q2 2026 revenue reached $200.6 billion, a 19.6% year-over-year increase, while AWS posted 36.7% growth to $42.2 billion in quarterly revenue.
The macro setup also looks favorable for Amazon, with the company running a $220 billion-plus capex program in 2026 focused on AI data centers and custom silicon. Andy Jassy confirmed that AWS demand is outstripping supply, with the 'lion's share' of 2027 compute capacity already reserved.
Technical indicators suggest a pause rather than a reversal in Amazon's price movement. The stock is sandwiched between SMA 7 ($261.81) and SMA 20 ($268.53), while trading above the SMA 50 ($255.22). Momentum confirms the hesitation, with the MACD histogram flatlined to zero.
Despite the technical setup, Wall Street analysts are overwhelmingly bullish on Amazon's prospects. Of the 59-60 tracked, around 56-59 have a Buy/Strong Buy rating, and the consensus 12-month price target ranges between $322 and $327.
