AMD, Cisco, and HUMAIN Unveil Live AI Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and its partners have launched a new AI infrastructure rollout across Saudi Arabia, leveraging AMD's Instinct MI355X graphics processors and EPYC server processors. Cisco supplies the networking layer through its Silicon One platform, N9000 systems, and 800G optical technology.

The production system gives HUMAIN, a local provider of computing services, a platform for delivering graphics processing capacity as a service. This deployment marks an important milestone in the broader partnership between AMD, Cisco, and HUMAIN in Saudi Arabia.

The partners plan to add up to 250 megawatts of new computing infrastructure starting from 2027, using AMD's Instinct MI400 Series graphics processors and EPYC processors. They aim to scale this capacity to one gigawatt by 2030, creating a significant computing base for Saudi Arabia's growing digital economy.

This expansion aligns with the country's sovereign computing strategy, enabling organizations to maintain local control over data and computing operations while accessing large-scale processing resources.
