American Bitcoin Boosts Mining Capacity with 11,298 New Miners

American Bitcoin has announced the purchase of 11,298 ASIC miners, which will be delivered and deployed at their Drumheller facility in Alberta, Canada this month.

The acquisition adds approximately 3.05 exahashes per second of computing capacity to American Bitcoin's fleet, bringing their total owned fleet to 89,242 miners with a combined 28.1 EH/s of capacity.

Each new miner is rated at 13.5 joules per terahash, an energy efficiency figure that directly influences operating margins in the industry where power costs represent the dominant expense.
