American Bitcoin Crushes Q2 Mining Record Amid Narrowed Losses
American Bitcoin Mines Record 932 BTC in Q2
American Bitcoin has reported its Q2 earnings, revealing that it mined a record 932 BTC. The company's net loss came to $57.2 million, a significant improvement from the $81.8 million loss in the first quarter.
The decline in losses was largely due to a non-cash loss of $71.2 million on digital assets, which was factored into operating expenses. Meanwhile, Bitcoin prices fell about 12% over the quarter, impacting mining revenue.
Despite this, American Bitcoin's reserve has continued to grow, reaching around 8,000 BTC by August 3. This growth is a testament to the company's conviction in Bitcoin and its goal of becoming a leading player in the industry.
