American Bitcoin Delivers Record Quarterly Production Amid Market Headwinds

American Bitcoin Corp., a majority-owned subsidiary of Hut 8 Corp., reported its second-quarter financial results for 2026. The company's CEO, Mike Ho, stated that despite Bitcoin headwinds in Q2, American Bitcoin delivered its highest quarterly production on record and grew its strategic reserve to over 8,000 Bitcoin.

The company mined approximately 932 Bitcoin in Q2 2026, a 14% increase from the first quarter. Revenue per Bitcoin mined was $71,900, down 5% from the previous quarter. The cost to mine remained roughly flat at around $36,500 per Bitcoin.

American Bitcoin completed the full energization of 11,298 next-generation miners in April 2026, adding 3.05 EH/s of capacity at an efficiency of 13.5 joules per terahash (J/TH). The company's total owned fleet consisted of approximately 89,242 Bitcoin miners with around 28.1 EH/s of capacity as of quarter-end.
