Switzerland-based digital asset bank AMINA is exploring listing options, including an initial public offering (IPO), with Wall Street investment bank Cantor Fitzgerald as advisor. The bank has been working with Cantor to explore listing possibilities and had considered a backdoor listing through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC). However, it now prefers a reverse merger route via a digital asset treasury company.

In an email statement, AMINA said: 'SPACs and other vehicles have approached us, but their primary interest is a quick public listing rather than securing growth capital. We are looking for options that will support AMINA's strategic growth.'

AMINA was founded in 2018 under the name SEBA Bank and rebranded to its current name in 2023. It is a fully regulated bank supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, offering cryptocurrency trading, custody, staking, and lending services to institutional and professional investors.
