Analyst Sticks to Bitcoin-Ethereum-Dogecoin Investment Strategy Amid Bullish Sentiment
Prominent analyst Kevin Capital is sticking to his investment strategy for maximizing crypto gains. He advises maintaining a large allocation in Bitcoin (BTC), followed by Ethereum (ETH) and a smaller Dogecoin (DOGE) position.
This combination has proven successful for Kevin, yielding 'life-changing gains' in past bull cycles, he claims on X. Investor Mark Moss shares similar optimism, pointing to recent data showing wallets with significant BTC holdings adding $2.9 billion to their assets over 60 days. Meanwhile, smaller wallets sold nearly 10,000 BTC during the same period.
Institutional investors are also increasing their exposure to crypto. JPMorgan Chase & Co. boosted its BlackRock Bitcoin ETF position by about 25% in Q2, while Paul Tudor Jones raised his BTC allocation by 18.9%. Stanley Druckenmiller's family office expanded into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing via Bitcoin miners.
Moss notes that Bitcoin's resilience to negative headlines is a strong sign of a bottom, citing the asset's ability to absorb supply before triggering short liquidations and momentum buying. He also links the rally to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's plan to expand bond buybacks, which could weaken the dollar's purchasing power and boost demand for scarce assets.
