Analysts Eye $200,000 Bitcoin Target as Monthly Chart Flashes Bullish Signal
Bitcoin's recent price action has been steady, but analysts are eyeing bigger targets. Over the past seven days, Bitcoin gained nearly 3% in value, extending its recovery from a turbulent week across the broader cryptocurrency market.
The current market structure bears notable similarities to the pattern seen during the previous bear-market cycle, according to analyst Crypto Patel. In that cycle, Bitcoin fell 68% before eventually advancing sharply to establish a new all-time high.
Crypto Patel pointed out that if the monthly chart breaks above its neckline, it could open the door to the $150,000-$200,000 range. However, losing the first major support zone could send BTC lower, with the analyst pointing to the $55,000-$45,000 region as a potential accumulation area.
Another bullish view comes from Bitcoin wizard Adam Livingston, who argues that the current low-volatility environment resembles the period surrounding the November-December 2022 bear-market bottom. Under this scenario, Bitcoin could enter a powerful rally and push through $100,000 before targeting substantially higher levels, including $200,000 and potentially beyond.
