Anchorage Digital Brings Frgmnt's Stablecoins to Institutional Clients
Frgmnt's stablecoin protocol has partnered with Anchorage Digital to expand institutional access to its fUSD and sfUSD assets. This integration will allow institutional clients to hold, mint, stake, unstake, and redeem Frgmnt's stablecoins through Anchorage Digital's platform.
The partnership aims to make decentralized finance infrastructure more accessible to institutional users by providing a seamless onboarding experience. According to Frgmnt CEO Aurélien Roussel, institutions should be able to access onchain financial products through infrastructure that meets their operational and custody requirements.
Frgmnt operates two connected assets: fUSD, which can be minted against USDC, and sfUSD, which provides exposure to rewards generated by the protocol's underlying strategies. The model reflects a growing effort among stablecoin and DeFi projects to bridge onchain yield opportunities with traditional financial institutions' operational requirements.
