Anchorage Digital Integrates Frgmnt’s Yield-Bearing Stablecoin
Anchorage Digital, the only federally chartered crypto bank in the US, has partnered with Frgmnt to bring its fUSD stablecoin into its institutional custody platform.
The integration allows eligible clients to hold, mint, redeem, and stake fUSD without needing a separate wallet infrastructure.
fUSD is minted on a 1:1 basis against USDC and the collateral is deployed to on-chain lending markets including Aave and Morpho. Stakers receive sfUSD, the yield-bearing version of the token, which passes along rewards from those lending markets net of a 20% performance fee.
Aurélien Roussel, CEO and co-founder of Frgmnt, stated that institutions need to access on-chain financial products through infrastructure that meets their operational and custody requirements.
