Andrew Tate's DADDY Token Craters by 97% Amid New Charges
Andrew Tate's cryptocurrency token, DADDY, has plummeted by over 97% from its peak in June 2024. The token was trading at $0.007 on Friday, down significantly from its high of around $0.29 that same month. This decline follows Tate's arrest by US Marshals in Miami, where he is currently being held in a detention center.
The brothers' other cryptocurrency ventures have also suffered, with TOPG and TATE tokens down 99.8% and over 99% respectively from their peaks in 2024. The concentration of DADDY's total supply in Tate's wallet has been cited as one reason for the token's decline.
Tate faces new charges while tweeting from a Miami cell, including seven further counts of rape, trafficking, and assault, as well as charges relating to indecent images of a child and extreme pornography. The brothers are charged with 59 offenses altogether, with alleged crimes taking place between July 2010 and August 2017.
