Ankr Brings Global Public Nodes to XRP Ledger Ahead of v3.3.0
XRP Ledger developers and users now have access to globally distributed public nodes operated by Ankr. These nodes are located in Singapore, New York, Amsterdam, and San Francisco.
The rollout comes ahead of five proposed amendments that will cover privacy, settlement, and institutional access. The new infrastructure is designed to improve public access for developers and users, allowing them to interact with the network without installing or maintaining their own xrpld infrastructure.
Ankr's system automatically routes traffic to the most suitable node, which could reduce latency and provide backup connectivity if one location becomes unavailable. This rollout follows the July 29 activation of fixCleanup3_2_0, a previous amendment that made xrpld 3.2.0 the minimum version compatible with the amended mainnet rules.
