Ankr has launched Forge, a rewards platform designed to incentivize user engagement through real revenue, not token emissions. Unlike traditional 'stake tokens and get more tokens' models, Forge ties its rewards to the revenue generated by Ankr's existing infrastructure business.

The platform works as follows: users convert their $ANKR holdings and complete various on-chain transactions and app interactions to earn Forge Points. These points determine how much of the periodic 'Forge Drops' each user receives, which are actual rewards rather than inflated token emissions.

Eligible participants have already started accumulating Forge Points since the platform's launch on July 15. The first Forge Drop is expected soon, although Ankr hasn't specified an exact date.

Ankr operates blockchain infrastructure across more than 80 supported chains and processes over 1 trillion RPC requests per month, generating significant revenue in the process. This revenue will fund the Forge rewards program, making it a 'win for holders, partners, and Ankr,' according to CTO Stanley Wu.
