Ansem Gets the Boot from Uber: Crypto Influencer Banned for Being Late and Loud

Share

Crypto influencer Ansem has been banned from using Uber due to his low rating of 4.2, which he blames on being late and 'loud as f**k'. According to a tweet by Ansem, whose real name is Zion Thomas, the car-for-hire firm removed access to his account after failing to improve his score despite prior warnings.

Ansem shared Uber's ban notification on X, where users speculated about the reasons for his low rating. He eventually explained on his Market Bubble podcast that he has 'bad habits' and is often late, adding that when he calls an Uber with a group of people, they are loud in the car.

Uber's community guidelines prohibit behavior such as aggressive or harassing conduct, disrespecting others, and bringing open containers of alcohol or illegal drugs into the vehicle. Ansem stated that his repeated tardiness and tendency to bring loud passengers along for the ride led to his ban.
