Anthropic IPO Sends Top AI Tokens Soaring
The top artificial intelligence (AI) tokens are experiencing a surge in value as investors respond to recent developments in the industry. Bittensor's TAO token has reached $270, its highest point since June 15 and 50% above its lowest point in July. Near Protocol's NEAR token has jumped to $2.4865, its highest level since June 16.
Venice Token (VVV) has soared to $18.67, up by over 90% from its July low. The rally is attributed to the upcoming IPO of Anthropic, a prominent AI company, which is expected to happen either later this month or in October. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley will lead the IPO, with other banks participating including Barclays and JPMorgan.
The IPO's prospectus, known as S1, is expected to be published soon, followed by a roadshow where Anthropic will market itself to investors. The tokens are also rising due to OpenAI's launch of Astra, its latest model, which aims to challenge Anthropic. However, this progress may help OpenAI bridge the gap and delay its IPO.
