APEI Expands Healthcare Education Footprint through Hondros Integration
American Public Education (APEI) has expanded its nursing education network through the integration of Hondros College of Nursing, an institution that provides practical training for students pursuing careers in healthcare.
The addition strengthens APEI's position in career-focused healthcare education and provides current and future nursing professionals with broader academic pathways. The combination allows Hondros students to access bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across institutions operating within the American Public University System.
Hondros has been providing nursing education for over two decades through a structured approach focused on career progression, training thousands of licensed practical nurses and registered nurses during that period. The institution currently serves students through eight campuses across Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
