ApeX Expands Prediction Markets, Announces Spot Trading Closure
ApeX has significantly expanded its prediction markets to include politics and cryptocurrency, joining sports as a category. The platform allows users to place bets on various events in these areas.
The expansion of prediction markets comes alongside an announcement from ApeX regarding the closure of its Spot trading service. As per the plan, all Spot transactions and access will be discontinued after August 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM UTC.
In preparation for this change, users are advised to convert their tokens to USDT before the mentioned date. After the closure of Spot trading, USDT balances will automatically transfer to the ApeX Omni Funding Account, while non-USDT tokens on Ethereum, BSC, or Base will be airdropped to users' L1 wallets within several business days.
Solana-based token holders are required to request asset retrieval through support after identity verification. It is essential for users to note that other ApeX Omni services remain unaffected by this change.
