Apex Fusion Opens Vector Settlement Layer for AI Agents

The Apex Fusion Foundation has opened its Vector settlement layer for AI agents to labs, companies, researchers, and independent builders. This milestone follows an eleven-month pilot with OriginTrail, during which over 20,000 work packages were sourced, escrowed, completed, and verified by autonomous agents.

Vector provides on-chain identity with staked reputation, bonded escrow, dispute resolution by staked jury, and signed receipts carrying the full chain of custody for every result. The layer is built on Cardano's protocol stack and uses the eUTXO accounting model to ensure deterministic transactions, low fees, and parallelization for high throughput.

Apex Fusion CEO Christopher Greenwood noted that managing AI agents requires giving them identities, sandboxes, and policies to govern their behavior. However, when these agents interact with each other or with strangers, the need for trust arises, which is where Vector comes in, a neutral ground where parties can converge on a shared record they both rely on.
