Aptos Partners with Regulated Exchange to Bring 100+ Assets Onchain
Aptos has taken a significant step forward in its mission to become a major player in the blockchain space. The platform has integrated with Archax, a UK-based digital securities exchange, broker, and custodian that is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This partnership will allow more than 100 regulated tokenized securities and real-world assets to be moved onto the Aptos blockchain.
The first product to benefit from this integration is the MembersCap Tokenized Global Reinsurance Income Fund, also known as MCM Fund I. Interestingly, the Aptos Foundation itself serves as the general partner for this fund. Archax plans to tokenize additional financial instruments, including funds, equities, and debt securities, on the Aptos network in the future.
This integration is significant because it provides the necessary infrastructure for institutional investors to participate in blockchain-based transactions. Archax's FCA license gives its clients access to regulated brokerage services, custody, and a compliant exchange, something that many tokenization platforms lack.
