Aptos Price Slips as Network Faces Mixed Signals Amid Aave Wind-Down

Aptos is facing mixed signals as its price slips toward a key support zone. On one hand, the network has seen strong usage numbers, with over 4.5 billion cumulative transactions processed, according to Chainspect's chain-tracking data.

However, Aave's founder confirmed that the protocol is deprecating 50 low-adoption asset reserves and winding down deployments on several chains, including Aptos, which could weigh on near-term DeFi-related sentiment.

Aptos' price has broken down from a multi-week consolidation range that held between $0.60 and $0.64 through most of July, with RSI at 38.21 indicating sellers currently have the edge.

The key question is whether Aptos can hold its support level at $0.55823 or slide further toward the psychological $0.52051 level.
