Aptos Squeeze Fades, Can It Reclaim Crucial $0.71 Support?
Aptos (APT) has been making waves in the crypto market after surging 8.3% in a single session and breaking above its Bollinger upper band at $0.64.
However, analysts are cautioning that this move may be more of a short squeeze than a genuine breakout.
The MACD momentum has flatlined at precisely zero, indicating exhaustion, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is elevated but hasn't tipped into overbought territory. The three short-term moving averages, 7, 20, and 50-day SMAs, are still clustered tightly between $0.57 and $0.59.
The SMA 200 sitting overhead at $0.82 remains a heavy structural ceiling that hasn't been meaningfully challenged in months. Analysts believe the move is structurally exposed to reversal until $0.71 is convincingly reclaimed on volume.
