APX Lending Launches Bitcoin-Backed Revolving Line of Credit in Canada
APX Lending has launched a Bitcoin-backed revolving line of credit in Canada, giving clients access to borrowing against their digital assets. This product is designed to meet client demand for more flexible financing options.
The five-year revolving facility allows borrowers to repay principal at any time and redraw available credit as needed. Interest accrues only on the amount drawn, providing a potentially more efficient use of capital compared to fixed-term lending.
APX CEO Andrei Poliakov attributes the launch to client demand, stating 'A revolving line of credit is something our clients have asked us for repeatedly.' This new product extends APX's lineup, which now includes fixed-term lending, revolving credit, and Lending-as-a-Service. As a regulated digital-asset credit infrastructure company, APX operates within a framework that provides institutional-grade custody and insurance.
The collateral's market value determines available credit, changing dynamically with the amount already drawn. To mitigate volatility risks, APX unveiled a new liquidation model last month designed to preserve borrower collateral while protecting loans during market swings.
