Arbitrum ARB Token Price Surges 30% Amid Robinhood Chain Revenue Spike
Arbitrum's ARB token price surged over 30% in 24 hours to around 11 cents, breaking out of its 7-10 cent range since June. The move was tied directly to surging activity on Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 network launched by Robinhood on July 1.
Ryan Myher, COO at Genius, noted that capital tends to rotate to correlated assets once the primary trade has moved. 'ARB is the obvious downstream exposure given the relationship between the two,' he said, referring to Robinhood Chain.
The Arbitrum DAO received $175,612 in the past 24 hours under the Arbitrum Expansion Program revenue-share model. The program requires chains using the Arbitrum stack to pay 10% of chain profit back to the ecosystem.
