Arbitrum Corrects 51M ARB Voting Power Discrepancy

The Arbitrum Security Council has taken steps to address a discrepancy in the Delegated Voting Power (DVP) of the ARB token contract. According to the proposal, the recorded total DVP was approximately 51.17 million ARB higher than it should have been due to initial initialization estimates.

This correction does not affect individual ARB balances or delegation distributions. It merely adjusts the recorded aggregate total used by the contract to reflect the accurate number.

The fix is a non-emergency governance action, which means that users do not need to take any action and their tokens will remain unaffected.
