Arbitrum DAO Sees $6.19M H1 Income, Robinhood Chain Boosts Ecosystem Growth
The Arbitrum DAO reported $6.19 million in unaudited income for the first half of 2026, according to its bi-annual progress update released on September 2.
This figure includes revenue from four main sources: Arbitrum One transaction fees, Timeboost sequencer auctions, AEP license fees, and treasury management returns. The blended gross margin on protocol revenue came in above 97%, an improvement from the 90%-plus recorded through 2025.
Notably, the update excludes income from Robinhood Chain, which launched on mainnet July 1, one day after the reporting period closed. However, its impact was already significant: the chain generated $360,000 in AEP license fees in July, accounting for 35% of what the DAO earned that month.
Brendan Ma, head of investment strategy at the Arbitrum Foundation, attributed the growth to 'the convergence of traditional finance and onchain finance.' He also mentioned that the ecosystem's growth has accelerated since the half ended, with third-quarter income likely exceeding the second quarter by up to 40%.
