Arbitrum Enables ZK Block Proving with Succinct Partnership
Succinct and @Offchain have partnered to bring ZK settlement to Arbitrum. The partnership enables ZK block proving on the Arbitrum mainnet using SP1 zkVM, which runs the Arbitrum state transition function.
This move replaces reliance on a separate approximation and provides a production route for ZK settlement on Arbitrum. As a result, users can expect Ethereum withdrawals in hours instead of days.
The partnership also creates a foundation for protocol-level privacy across Arbitrum chains. This means sensitive data can be protected without compromising on scalability.
