Arbitrum Gets a Bullish Boost from Robinhood Chain
Arbitrum's native cryptocurrency, ARB, has been facing valuation challenges due to its unclear economic activity and governance influence. However, the recent launch of Robinhood Chain on Arbitrum's technology stack has provided a new bull case for ARB.
The Robinhood Chain has processed over $1.5 billion in daily decentralized exchange volume and generated fees worth $3.75 million in a single day. This is significant because it demonstrates that third-party companies can generate meaningful economic activity on Arbitrum's technology while creating revenue for the broader ecosystem.
ARB has seen a 50% price jump over the past seven days, with its price rising from around $0.084 to above $0.14. The token's derivatives activity has also increased, with futures volume jumping by 1,143% and open interest increasing by 80.91%. This suggests that traders are allocating more capital to the ARB trade.
The Arbitrum ecosystem is developing multiple revenue sources, including transaction fees, Timeboost, and licensing fees from its Expansion Program. The DAO generated $6.19 million in income during the first half of 2026, with a gross margin above 97% across protocol revenue streams.
