Arbitrum Network Growth Reaches New Heights Amidst Token Price Volatility
The Arbitrum network has reached a significant milestone in its growth, with the total real-world asset (RWA) market cap hitting $900 million. This achievement comes as Robinhood Chain, a layer-2 network built on Arbitrum's technology for tokenized stock trading, went live on mainnet on July 1 and has since reached 329,000 RWA holders, generating $3.3 million in total revenue and $8.3 billion in cumulative Uniswap trading volume.
Additionally, Shopify now supports USDC payments on its platform through Shopify Payments, allowing eligible merchants to accept USDC directly at checkout. This integration joins Ethereum L1, Optimism, and Polygon as supported USDC networks, with availability varying by merchant region.
Arbitrum One is also leading the way in lending and borrowing on Aave v3, a decentralized lending protocol deployed across multiple blockchains, with $728 million in total value locked (TVL). In July, it became the top L2 for payments on KoloHub, a platform that tracks blockchain payment volume, with $13.7 million in monthly volume moving through its rails.
Following this week's Arbitrum News, the native token ARB saw a 2.52% price increase over the past 24 hours, but is still down 6.04% for the week.
