Arbitrum Network Sees Record Transactions and GDP Growth in First Half 2026

The Arbitrum Foundation has released its Bi-Annual Progress Update for the first half of 2026, covering six months to June 30th. The report details activity across Arbitrum One and the Arbitrum Chains built on its technology.

According to the update, the network processed 478 million transactions in the period, taking its lifetime total to 2.7 billion. Ecosystem GDP for the half was $206 million, with a cumulative figure of $1.7 billion since launch.

The Arbitrum Expansion Program licence fees accounted for 35% of ArbitrumDAO income in July, the first month Robinhood Chain was on mainnet. The program's revenue is distributed to the ecosystem, with chains settling outside Arbitrum One returning 10% of net protocol revenue.
