Arbitrum One Hits $20B TVL, Cementing Its Position as Leading Layer-2 Platform
The Arbitrum One blockchain has reached a significant milestone by becoming the first Layer-2 solution to hit $20 billion in total value locked (TVL). This marks a major breakthrough for the technology, which is critical infrastructure for Ethereum's scalability.
The platform has seen impressive growth, with a 14.2% increase in TVL over time. The breakdown of TVL shows that Canonical accounts for $6.64 billion, External accounts for $5.32 billion, and Native accounts for $8.12 billion.
In comparison to its competitors, Arbitrum One outperforms Base with a TVL of $12.4 billion, OP Mainnet with a TVL of $8.56 billion, and Blast with a TVL of $1.55 billion.
The platform supports various blockchain applications, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs), ERC20 tokens, and AI-driven solutions. To further support developers, the Arbitrum Foundation has announced a $1 million Trailblazer AI Grant to encourage building AI agents on Ethereum Layer 2.
