Arbitrum Price Surge Continues in September Amid Elara Upgrade and Token Unlock
Arbitrum (ARB) has begun September on a strong note, following a sharp recovery that pushed its price higher. The token recently traded around $0.111 after gaining 28.32% in a single day and 13.90% over the past week. This surge is part of a larger trend, with ARB having risen by 38.3% in the last month.
Despite this momentum, traders are cautious due to elevated Stochastic RSI readings, which indicate strong buying pressure but also overbought risks. A break above $0.1200 could strengthen the recovery and improve market confidence, while a move toward $0.1400 would represent a significant extension.
The network's recent Elara upgrade has added another catalyst to ARB's momentum. This upgrade brings protocol-level compliance filtering and customizable priority fees to dedicated Arbitrum chains, improving base-fee management on Arbitrum One and increasing capacity for Stylus smart contracts.
However, the scheduled token unlock on September 16 could pressure prices. Meanwhile, spot inflows have generally exceeded outflows throughout much of the observed period, but the latest data shows a modest net inflow of approximately $88,170.
