Arbitrum Proposal Targets Three DeFi Protocols Over Alleged Reporting Failures

A new proposal has been put forth in the Arbitrum governance forum to exclude three DeFi protocols from future grant allocations due to alleged reporting failures and misuse of prior incentives.

The proposal, which is still at the community discussion stage, does not mean that the three protocols are already banned from receiving funding. However, it suggests that the DAO is taking a closer look at accountability in its grant programs.

Grant programs are crucial for Layer-2 ecosystems like Arbitrum to attract builders, liquidity, and attention. If the DAO starts tightening eligibility requirements around reporting and incentive use, it indicates that governance is becoming more serious about holding recipients accountable for their actions.
