Arbitrum Proposes Ban for Three DeFi Projects Over Token Misuse
Arbitrum's Watchdog Committee has proposed banning three DeFi projects from participating in future DAO programs due to alleged misuse of tokens. Good Entry, Limitless, and APX Finance are accused of misusing a combined 457,553 ARB tokens valued at approximately $76,000. The committee found issues such as funds being distributed to ineligible users and unauthorized transfers to other blockchains.
The projects have until September 10 to respond and return the disputed funds before separate DAO votes decide on their bans. These measures highlight ArbitrumDAO's efforts to improve grant oversight and protect its ecosystem.
Each project faces a potential ban that would bar future participation but not freeze assets. The committee's proposal aims to prevent similar incidents in the future and maintain trust within the network.
