Arbitrum Token Surges 90% as Robinhood Chain Fees Hit Record High
The Arbitrum token (ARB) has seen a significant price surge, increasing by 90% from its record low in June. This rally is largely attributed to the high fees generated by Robinhood Chain, which reached an all-time high of $4.45 million on September 2. The total value locked (TVL) in Arbitrum remains near $1.37 billion, significantly below its October 2025 peak.
The network that settles transactions for Robinhood Chain earned almost nothing during the same period, while Arbitrum One, a competing network, processed over 1.94 million transactions and collected only $14,000 in fees on September 2.
This stark contrast highlights the success of Robinhood Chain in generating revenue through high transaction fees. The current pace is more than 10 times above the previous peak, with daily fees staying below $400,000 throughout most of August.
