Arbitrum Token Surges 90% as Robinhood Chain Fees Reach All-Time High
Arbitrum's token ARB has surged 90% from its June record low as Robinhood Chain fees reached an all-time high of $4.45 million on September 2.
The massive spike in fees, which were up 109% between August 31 and September 1, outpaced Arbitrum One's daily fee income by around 320 times, with the network collecting just 5.8 ether (ETH) worth roughly $14,000 in fees on that day.
Roughly 10 minutes of trading on Robinhood Chain generated more than $4 million in fees, which is a stark contrast to Arbitrum One's entire daily fee income.
The high fees have led to speculation about the sustainability of the rally and whether capital will follow activity in the network.
