Arbitrum Token Unlock Looms: 92 Million ARB Tokens Set for August Release

The Arbitrum network is set to unlock another significant supply of tokens on August 16, 2026, which could put pressure on the price. Approximately 92.65 million ARB tokens will enter circulation at a sub-$0.08 price, representing a value between $7 million and $8 million.

The token's distribution is as follows: team, future team, and advisors will receive 56.13 million ARB, while investors will get 36.52 million ARB. The released supply can be transferred, deposited, or staked but does not have to be sold.

The increase in supply could affect the price if distributed to buyers faster than they can absorb it. However, Arbitrum's fundamentals suggest that the token has limited appeal and is not without challenges. Despite its growth, the network still faces dilution, which remains a significant problem for ARB tokenomics.
