Arbitrum's Elara Upgrade Brings Compliance Filtering and Priority-Fee Support
Arbitrum has released its Elara upgrade on August 20, bringing optional compliance filtering and priority-fee support for dedicated blockchains. The new features allow businesses to configure restricted addresses or access policies through protocol-level compliance filtering.
The Arbitrum Platform now provides a clearer path to launching regulated on-chain products while maintaining control over dedicated networks. Chain owners can create rules that prevent certain transactions from being processed based on restricted addresses or other defined conditions.
Elara also introduces support for priority fees on dedicated chains, allowing users to add tips that can potentially influence the order in which transactions are processed. However, this feature is disabled by default and must be activated by the chain owner.
