ARB's Price Surge May Be Short-Lived Amid Lack of Direct Benefits
The Arbitrum token's recent price surge has left investors questioning its sustainability. The token's growth is largely attributed to the launch of Robinhood Chain, a layer-two network built on Arbitrum Orbit infrastructure.
Since July, ARB's market capitalization has nearly doubled, and the previous quarter's decline was fully recovered. However, experts warn that this growth may be a 'buy the rumor' scheme, as the token holders do not yet receive direct benefits from Robinhood Chain revenues.
A separate vote is required to distribute these revenues among ARB holders. Meanwhile, more than 230 million ARB will enter circulation in mid-September, potentially increasing price volatility and pressure on the market.
