Arc Blockchain Mainnet Launch Brings Institutional Players and Speculators Together

Arc Blockchain is preparing for its mainnet launch on September 16, 2026. The network has gained attention from both institutional players and speculative traders, with a lineup of validators including BlackRock, Visa, and Mastercard.

The Arc Blockchain uses USDC as the primary transaction fee currency, which is seen as a move to make costs more predictable for institutions and developers who already operate in stablecoin terms. This design choice ties network economics directly to Circle's own asset.

Six projects are building out the early Arc DeFi ecosystem: aka.fun, UnitFlow, Synthra, Tower, Hibachi, and Sidoor. These projects aim to capture retail attention from day one and provide diverse financial use cases across the Arc ecosystem.
