Ardoino Denies Tether Blockchain Development Claims
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino has denied claims that the company is developing its own blockchain network, dubbed a 'stablechain,' to support the $USDT stablecoin.
The allegations surfaced in an analysis report that suggested Tether was creating a private blockchain to reduce its dependence on existing networks and gain more control over the stablecoin ecosystem.
Ardoino categorically denied these claims, stating that Tether is not developing any blockchain and has no such plans.
Tether's $USDT token is currently available on multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Tron, Solana, Avalanche, and TON, allowing users to choose the infrastructure that best suits their needs in terms of transaction costs and speed.
