Arizona Senators Targeted in Crypto Corruption Probe
Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego are being urged to reject the CLARITY Act, a cryptocurrency legislation moving through the US Senate.
The bill is backed by President Trump and big-money crypto lobbyists, and critics argue it would further upset the balance of the financial system, enriching political elites while working people get left behind.
According to government disclosures, Donald Trump earned over $1.4 billion in crypto income in a single year, including $500 million from his family's company World Liberty Financial and $635 million from TRUMP meme coins.
The CLARITY Act would do nothing to stop the corruption, allowing it to spread by treating digital assets more leniently than traditional financial institutions.
