ARK Invest Adds Crypto Exposure with BitMine and Solana Staking Deals

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest has continued its buying spree in the crypto market, this time adding exposure to BitMine Immersion Technologies and the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF. According to a recent trade disclosure, ARK Invest purchased $251,500 worth of shares in BitMine, with its flagship ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK) acquiring 5,264 shares for approximately $83,100.

This represents a small allocation within the fund, but is another addition to ARK's growing crypto-linked investment exposure. BitMine has positioned itself as an Ethereum treasury company, and this move highlights ARK's continued interest in companies connected to digital assets.

Meanwhile, ARK Invest also increased its holdings in the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF (SOLQ.U) across two of its other exchange-traded funds. The total allocation was approximately $168,400, with ARKW and ARKF purchasing 16,917 and 11,101 shares respectively.

ARK's crypto and AI buying spree continues, as the firm seeks to gain exposure to emerging themes in the market. While these purchases are modest relative to ARK's overall assets, they demonstrate the firm's willingness to adapt its portfolio to changing market conditions.
