ARK Invest Bolsters Crypto Exposure with BitMine and Solana Staking ETF Purchases

Cathie Wood-led ARK Invest increased its exposure to crypto-related assets on Friday by purchasing shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies and the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF.

The company's crown jewel ETF, ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK), bought 5,264 shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) for about $83,100 based on Friday's closing price of $15.79.

This acquisition accounted for approximately 0.0014% of the holdings in ARKK's portfolio and was part of other changes to the portfolio, including buying more of X-Energy and selling off some of its holdings in Figma.

ARKK also bought more shares of the 3iQ Solana Staking ETF (SOLQ.U), with the ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW) purchasing 16,917 shares valued at about $101,700 each and the ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) buying 11,101 shares worth approximately $66,700 each.
