Ark Invest Snaps Up $5M in Bullish Shares Amid Mixed Financial Results
Cathie Wood's Ark Invest has acquired $5 million in shares of crypto exchange Bullish across three of its ETFs, according to a recent trading disclosure. The purchase on May 21 was valued at $35.96 per share and included 139,117 shares distributed across the Innovation ETF (ARKK), Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and Blockchain and Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF).
This is not Ark's first foray into Bullish shares; over the past week, the firm has collectively acquired $9.4 million in Bullish stock across the same three funds. The accumulation follows Bullish's recent financial results, which presented a mixed picture.
Bullish posted a net loss of $604.9 million for Q1 2025, nearly double the loss recorded in the same period last year. However, adjusted revenue rose to $92.8 million from $62.4 million in Q1 of 2024. The company's CEO, Tom Farley, described Bullish's recent acquisition of Equiniti as an opportunity to accelerate its path toward providing end-to-end tokenization services at an institutional scale.
