Arkham Enables AI Agents to Pay for API Usage with x402 Standard

Arkham, a blockchain analytics platform, has integrated support for Coinbase's x402 Standard into its API. This integration enables AI agents to pay for Arkham API usage with USDC at the time of each request.

The combination of a Coinbase Agentic Wallet and the Arkham API allows an AI agent to track on-chain movements of large token holders, detect accumulation or distribution by those holders, and examine wallet flows in real-time.

AI agents can now monitor blockchain activity autonomously using Arkham's API, with the integration simplifying machine-to-machine payments. However, adoption may be limited by wallet support, facilitator dependence, and higher costs for high-frequency API usage.
