Arkham Intelligence Ditches Centralized Trading for Decentralized Model
The data analytics company Arkham Intelligence has announced that its trading platform will transition to a fully decentralized architecture. This move comes after reports suggested that the exchange might cease operations.
Arkham's CEO, Miguel Morel, clarified the strategic direction of the company. He stated that major centralized platforms have become unresponsive to trader requirements and now replicate flaws found in traditional financial infrastructure they claimed to surpass.
The adoption of decentralized trading venues accelerated throughout 2025, with participants gravitating toward platforms offering direct asset custody and operational transparency. The volume ratios between decentralized and centralized exchanges reached record levels after more than tripling from 2020 baselines.
