Armed Attackers Demand Crypto Transfers from Tied-Up French Couple
A French couple was tied up in their home by two armed attackers who demanded cryptocurrency transactions. The incident occurred early Saturday morning at the couple's residence in Alès, a city in southern France.
The attackers, who were masked and gloved, entered the house carrying a handgun and a knife. They restrained both victims and threatened them while trying to obtain assets through cryptocurrency transactions. A young child was inside the house during the attack.
Neighbors heard screams from the property and contacted officers from the Alès police station. The attackers fled when police arrived, leaving the victims behind.
