Armenia's Tax Authorities Tackle Crypto Regulation

The State Revenue Committee (SRC) in Armenia has taken steps to educate its employees on the tax and legal regulation of crypto assets and blockchain technologies.

Chairman Eduard Hakobyan led a meeting with SRC staff who had undergone training in these areas, as well as risk management.

Hakobyan emphasized that 'the crypto world has become part of our reality,' and his goal is for employees to develop their knowledge in this area.

The discussions covered Armenia's legislative regulations governing the crypto asset sector, taxation mechanisms, and ongoing control measures aimed at assessing risks and detecting violations.
