Armstrong Sees $300K-$400K Bitcoin Target by 2030
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong thinks Bitcoin could reach $300K to $400K by 2030, based on several structural changes that may increase demand for BTC. This outlook depends on clearer U.S. regulation, deeper institutional participation, limited supply and a broader role for Bitcoin in corporate and government portfolios.
The growth of spot Bitcoin ETFs has made it easier for traditional investors to gain exposure to BTC through regulated investment vehicles. This is particularly important for pension funds, wealth managers and other professional investors that may face operational restrictions on directly holding crypto assets.
Bitcoin's supply structure remains highly constrained, with a maximum supply of 21 million coins and a decreasing rate of new issuance through the halving process. If institutional allocations, ETF holdings and corporate purchases continue to expand through 2030, stronger competition for available BTC could make price movements more sensitive to sustained capital inflows.
